In this chapter, Luna's harrowing tale of her imprisonment by the 'Mysterious Six' comes to an end, as she confesses that after a particularly brutal period of sojourning inside 'The Cage' (only briefly alleviated by... the presence of an unexpectedly kind caretaker), she was let out by her abductors as suddenly as she had been captured. Shocked beyond measure, Marco offers to help in finding and punishing her torturers, but it takes Luna a while to agree to accept his assistance - and only in the form of a most serious, unbreakable oath. Meanwhile, across town another tragedy is taking place, as Straffan finally pays his debts to society... at the cost of being strangled under the orders of his own father!
